Doctor's document dilemma inspires an innovative app solution
Manage You was developed by a healthcare provider who experienced their own stuggles with document management. While preparing credentials for a new clinical job, they encountered difficulties accessing critical credentialing documents, including their diplomas. This eperience was compounded by the stress of relocation and COVID burnout of 2020. This situation prompted them to create a solution.
Recognizing the potential impact on others facing similar challenges, they embarked on a mission to develop a tool they had envisioned for years, initiating a search for developers.

Welcome to Manage You! I am the founder and creator of the Manage You app, and a busy healthcare advanced practice nurse. My career in healthcare has grown with leadership and personal challenges in keeping myself and others organized. Managing teams and developing tools to allow us to provide efficient care at the bedside is difficult. Taking care of patients and protecting time with our families has become a high priority in the ever-changing healthcare space.
I have been at the bedside for my entire career. That is the point of being in healthcare for my personal journey. Big and little hospitals, intensive care and operating rooms, military and civilian jobs. A wide range of healthcare experiences, but credentialing and document management is a theme that we all must maintain.

The Challenge
Despite efforts to save documents in digital folders or drives, the disconnect between these documents and users’ calendars presents a significant obstacle. This disjointed process often requires additional steps to schedule documents, consuming valuable time and effort. However, Manage You offers a unique solution with its integrated approach. By automatically attaching expiration dates to documents and sending reminders via email and text, Manage You streamlines the document management process unlike any other platform.
The Solution
Manage You was created with the aim of providing users with convenient access to their documents. Recognizing the challenges posed by HIPAA compliance regulations, the creators understood that accessing emails and searching drives on hospital computers could present obstacles. By leveraging the functionality of smartphones, Manage You enables users to quickly share required documents while ensuring compliance with regulations.
